I'm going to beyond tellerrand in april. What are your favourite talks so far?

Hey folks!
I kinda got convinced by @Tilman and my dad to overcome my slight anxiety about big and shiny (and expensive) conferences this time and am heading to beyond tellerrand this year. I’m still watching the ‘Painting With the Web’ Talk, recommended by @egoexpress and like it so much that I’m curious if you all maybe have some more tips on previous talks.

Actually, I wanted to ask you for any kind of preparation advice. Should i try to learn more about the speakers? Go in with some specific questions or personal topics?

Good for you that btconf is neither big nor shiny. :slight_smile: It’s as down to earth as it can be for a conference of that size.

Some further recommendations of talks I’ve seen live and really enjoyed:

I usually go to these events kinda unprepared, but to be honest I’m not the actual target demographic. I usually end up chatting to some speakers I really enjoyed after their talk, but you can also geek out and prepare in advance, everything goes.
Let’s chat about btconf a bit at the next meeting, it’s gonna be a blast. I’m really looking forward to it.
